Deana Gunn is the owner of Three Kinds of Kale Health and Wellness which was inspired by her love of health, fitness and nutrition. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgian Court University and graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. She is also an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor.
Deana’s desire to help others get to the root of their health issues started with her facing her own challenges. After struggling through months of strange symptoms such as anxiety, tremors, poor sleep and overall fatigue, she finally found a functional medicine doctor who worked with her to diagnose Celiac disease, adrenal fatigue and estrogen dominance. She has been able to heal herself through changes in diet and lifestyle, and is now working to help others do the same. Though it is not her only specialty, she particularly enjoys  helping those with autoimmune diseases and similar issues address their symptoms through dietary and lifestyle changes.  Her experience in adopting a gluten free lifestyle allows her to cater to those who are faced with living with food allergies or sensitivities.Â
Deana truly loves empowering people to feel energized and excited about their lives. She knows this is much easier when we truly ‘feel’ good.  As a health coach, she will be your cheerleader at times and head coach at others, providing honest feedback on the changes you need to make in order to improve your overall health.  Her philosophy is to meet you where you are in their own journey and draws upon her personal experience and knowledge to help you achieve your goals.  She also believes little changes in our daily routines can make big changes in our health.  Her experience in healing herself through proper nutrition has shaped her belief that what we put in our bodies is the key to maintaining health and preventing many of our chronic diseases today.Â
